New Leaf
One of my goals for this year was to do everything better…..lol I know it sounds idealistic, but I want to be a successful Artist, a complete wife, a loving mother, a devoted Christian, and a volunteer to our society…..and all of these things are usually what get me in trouble. I am always running around 5 minutes late wherever I go, and I’m completely distracted in every task I do.
So after lots of soul searching, I realized there are a few things I have to do. I have to say no to more, so I can pay a better attention to what matters to me most. And I have to stay organized! And I’ve become so organized the past few months I feel like I have a chore list just like my kids do….but it’s working! And I’m hoping that soon you will all be able to see it in my work too.
Christy, so nice to find your blog! Keep going at it, it doesn’t get any easier, whether you are a stay at home mom or working full-time. I, too, struggle to find balance and turn over a New Leaf. If you want an accountability partner to stay focused on art, let me know.
